Parents: Furby and Pikachu
The longest-haired, furriest hamster we ever had was Calvin. He
was the son of Furby and Pikachu,
whose hamster litter is documented in my Hamster
Journal.
Calvin was named after the boy in Calvin and Hobbes, a cartoon
strip that my kids really enjoy. He had a curious and gentle personality. Calvin
loved the outside, especially zooming around in the grass, which was more like
tall cornfields to him.
Calvin's life was fairly short; he died suddenly one day of a
possible heart attack or stroke at the young age of 8 months.
