1. Material for outside of house – should
be a strong/heavy material for durability. Use pattern pieces to determine
amount needed (MAIN PATTERN - Cut 1, VELCRO FLAP - Cut 4).
Example shown: quilted material -->

2. Material for inside lining of house – nice, soft material,
such as fleece works well. Use pattern pieces to determine
amount needed (INSIDE LINING PATTERN - Cut 1, INSIDE LINING - FRONT - Cut 1).

3. Cotton lining material for backside of flaps (need 4 pieces the size of VELCRO FLAP).
Example shown: cotton -->

4. Snap tape (snaps spaced 1½ inches apart):
ONE-DOOR: 23 snaps, cut into 3 sets of 5 snaps each and
2 sets of 4 snaps each
OR

TWO-DOOR: 28 snaps, cut into 4 sets
of 5 snaps each and 2 sets of 4 snaps each

5. Sew-on Velcro strips (17 inches total), cut into four 4¼ inch
pieces of each half (hooks and loops)
|

6. Plexiglas and Plexiglas cutting tool. Note:
Plexiglas is a clear, hard plastic. It may also be called
Lucite. In the sample, it is covered with an adhesive brown paper.
