On Monday, I made a call to local wildlife rehabilitator and left a message. While waiting for her
to call back, I tried to feed Robbie some worms. Unfortunately, he refused to eat. I'm not sure why. I took the box
back out to the front yard and gently let him out onto the grass, in case he would eat in more natural surroundings,
but had no luck. He was adorable though. He kept his eyes squeezed tightly shut, except every 5-10 seconds when he
let out a loud chirp-chirp-chirp. I think he was calling out to his parents. I saw a robin high up in a tree, so I
went in the house, but it never came down. I don't think it was Robbie's parent.
Above is Robbie with his eyes tightly closed ...
... and then he opened his eyes and said, "Chirp, chirp,
chirp!"
